OMNIA is an exclusive concept-product developed by Withings and tailored-made for CES. Designed to showcase our current health innovations while inspiring future possibilities in personal health monitoring.

Working against tight deadlines, we ran experience design and hardware prototyping in parallel. I made a prototype to rapidly iterate on the user experience and design, while collaborating closely with François Vaillant, Head of Industrialisation, to address technical considerations that lighting behavior and reflections on mirror screens for this final material specifications.

We recreated the CES environment to test lighting and movement scenarios, preparing for possible visibility limitations in the final showcase. Our focus was defining guidelines that convey depth and dimensionality using motion and transparency effects.
Paul-Antoine Marcel and I collaborated on Omnia’s artistic direction, on realism, scalability, and user delight. Our motion and UI guidelines ensured lighting and reflection challenges posed by the mirror format. The resulting visual effect represents a connected ecosystem of devices and data that delivers unified health insights and guidance.
Motion Design by Paul-Antoine Marcel

I traveled to Montreal before booth shipment to oversee production and finalize details. I had the valuable opportunity to work directly on lighting and programming a motion tree in the app. The goal was to guide attention on timing, color contrast, and audio-visual balance to create smooth breathing effects that complemented each scenario step.

With considerable dedication and some good fortune, we successfully delivered Omnia to CES, complete with an immersive experience. The lighting and motion effects harmonized beautifully with the setting, drawing substantial crowds to the booth and amplifying our PR impact.
