Working with Mathilde D’Acunto (PM) and Lise Carillo (UXR), we identified healthcare and family use as key opportunities for this multiscan device.
I then collaborated as the sole designer with Livia Robic (Hardware PM) on the strategy from CES announcement to retail launch, defining a three-part user experience: contextualizing measurements, enabling family health management, and facilitating healthcare provider communication.
After aligning stakeholders, I led the design process from build to release alongside Product Manager Huy Dallemagne.
The embedded interface presents BeamO’s greatest design challenge. We introduced new interaction patterns, including integrated tutorials, ensuring the embedded UI maintains full consistency with the main app experience. We worked on the embedded interface with Elium and Olivier Bienvenu.
We created new views for stethoscope, and we improved the detail views for ECG, temperature, and SpO2 measurements. Our aim was to deliver more comprehensive education about each measurement and its health implications. For ECG, we defined heart rate and rhythm as the two primary criteria that comprise the assessment.
We introduced the Health Journal, a new feature for logging symptoms alongside biomarker data to identify health patterns, building on previous design work with Roshan Zavery.
In collaboration with Younes Brini (Product Manager) and Samuel Attia (Health Solutions Product Director), we tackled a technical challenge by leveraging the Withings Remote Monitoring Platform to develop streamlined sharing functionality. Our solution enables users to generate and distribute links to their healthcare providers for telemedicine consultations.
In partnership with Huy Dallemagne (Product Manager), we enhanced the sharing capabilities to accommodate 8 users on the BeamO platform. We streamlined data sharing processes, enabling users to connect with family members and monitor their children’s health more effectively. A critical post-launch enhancement we implemented was the ability to share child profiles with partners, facilitating collaborative caregiving responsibilities.
